A Place to Volunteer for Everyone!

Volunteers are a vital part of our Hospice team!  Our volunteer program provides opportunities for people of all ages to serve with flexibility to meet your schedule.  We work to accommodate your availability and geographic area.  Being a Hospice volunteer is about caring for another in a way that builds a relationship that says “I truly care!”

All you need is compassion, empathy and a loving nature!  We are looking for people who love seniors and have an understanding of their care and wellbeing.  You need not fear that you are not qualified or experienced because we train and work with you on learning all you need to know to build lasting relationships!

Hospice provides an in-depth orientation prior to being placed with a patient and then there is on going opportunities for learning more about patient care.

Time Commitment

Your time commitment is up to you!  We only ask that you make a consistent commitment to meet with your patient and build a relationship with them and their family.  Most of our volunteers make a commitment to one hour each week and schedule a regular time for their visits depending on the demands of their personal schedules.

Benefits to You

Volunteers often find that their greatest satisfaction comes from contributing to the well-being of another person!  As a Hospice volunteer you will be able to apply your God given gifts and talents by investing into the life of another!  Your gifts of time, energy and creativity fill a unique role that only you can fill.  Many of our volunteers tell us that they get so much more back from our patients than they feel they could ever give back!
